PROCESS: Process: Our natural decaffeination process combines high-mountain spring water and natural Ethyl Acetate (EA). EA is naturally present in all coffee beans in their raw state (as well as in many fruits and vegetables), so no synthetic chemicals are added at any stage. The natural EA is obtained through a process based on sugar cane, and, along with mountain spring water, are the only elements the coffee comes into contact with. This water-EA process allows for a gentle caffeine extraction from the bean, avoiding excessive heat and pressure, thus preserving the natural structure and inherent characteristics of the coffee bean.
